We will also provide advice on mobility around the home and lifestyle advice in areas which may be impacting on your falls risk.

We can provided you with all of the information from years of experience of working with a variety of small and large aids to enable you to make an informed purchase.
Concerned your memory isn't as great as it use to be? We can complete cognitive assessments which would identify the need for further investigation with your GP. Cognitive assessments are not a diagnostic tool but will highlight a cognitive impairment which warrants further investigation.
Cognitive screens can also aid in identifying the need for a driving assessment which we assist in sign posting too.

Worried that you may write the wrong thing or not sure why certain questions are asked or what information is relevant? We can provide guidance and support in completing with minimal stress. We understand that negotiating the care industry is a complex task, we can help! We can complete functional assessments to determine optimal support needs. We can work with you to increase independence and safety during tasks.
Are there tasks that you can no longer complete due to accident or illness? Or have you lost your confidence? We can look at adapting the tasks or advice on adapting the environment to enable you to reach your potential.
You will get a qualified, experienced Occupational Therapist in your home completing a thorough environmental and functional assessment. The aim of this visit is to maximise safety and independence, providing you with a personalised and indepth report with recommendations and sign posting if required.

Do you experience difficulty with sleep? Find it hard falling to sleep or find that you are waking multiple times a night? Do you find that you sit on the sofa of an evening and are nodding off to sleep but as soon as you get into bed you are wide awake?
We can provide education and strategies to give you the tools to address these sleep difficulties.
If following an assessment there is a need for recommendations to be made to an external agency such as housing applications or adaptions to be completed to a housing association we can provide this in a letter or email form.
